The Refuge

Coming Spring of 2026

The Refuge is a place set apart — a stronghold of rest, restoration, and biblical truth for those on the front lines of life and ministry.

Inspired by the ancient cities of refuge, we’ve reclaimed and rebuilt this old church as a dual-purpose ministry hub:

  • A refuge apartment with cathedral ceilings and stained glass — a space for pastors to retreat, for believers to rest, and for emergency care when needed.

  • A functional meeting hall and loft for counseling, discipleship, marriage retreats, and kingdom-centered gatherings.

Whether it's a quiet stay, a moment of healing, or a gathering of warriors, The Refuge stands as a resource for the body of Christ — a place to catch your breath, regain your footing, and be strengthened in the Word.

A New Foundation for a New Purpose
The owners of the building have undertaken a full transformation of the building's infrastructure — including brand-new electrical and mechanical systems, along with a completely new roof. While the bones and beauty of the original Lannon stone church remain, everything beneath the surface has been rebuilt for long-term strength and sustainability.

What stands now is essentially a new building wrapped in the timeless charm of stained glass, stone, and soaring arches — ready to serve, shelter, and strengthen the body of Christ for years to come.

Help Us Bring The Refuge to Life

We’re in the final stretch of turning this historic church into a fully renewed place of ministry — and we can’t do it alone.

The vision is clear. The foundation is strong. But now we need the body of Christ to come together to finish the work.

Whether you’re skilled with a hammer, generous with your resources, faithful in prayer, or simply willing to show up — there’s a place for you in this story.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Donate toward the remaining construction costs and ministry launch expenses

  • Volunteer your time or skills in construction, finishing, or setup

  • Pray with us for provision, protection, and impact

  • Share the vision with others who may want to be part of something meaningful

This isn’t just about restoring a building. It’s about building a refuge — a place where people will find rest, hope, and biblical truth for years to come.

Will you stand with us and be part of what God is building through The Refuge?
