Pulpit Supply

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Timothy Bachleitner Bio

I am Timothy Bachleitner, a 45-year-old servant of Christ, husband to Kristin—who first shared the gospel with me in study hall—and father to ten incredible children: eight daughters, two sons, and grandfather to one precious grandson. A week before my 21st birthday, I gave my life to Jesus, and for over two decades, I’ve poured my heart into serving Him, guided by the cry of Psalm 42: “Deep calls to deep.”

Though never formally trained, I was shaped by mentors and hands-on ministry, serving as a children’s and youth pastor, deacon, elder, and senior pastor of a small Evangelical Free church in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. My mission was simple yet profound: teach the Bible verse by verse, inspire prayer, cultivate love for the Lord, and engage the community. With an evangelist’s heart, I preached on streets, led Faithful Soldier School of Evangelism, served as assistant director of Operation Save America, and founded James House Ministry to support troubled teens. As a sheriff and fire chaplain, I carried Christ’s love into moments of crisis.

A defining moment came after eight years of pastoring, when I stepped away, exhausted, to welcome our ninth child. The small church I’d poured my soul into dissolved, its members scattering to other congregations. I saw then how small churches often hinge on one person’s energy to keep the plates spinning—a reality driving many to close their doors. This heartbreak birthed a new calling: to bring renewal and refreshment to weary pastors and congregations, ensuring their pulpits remain alive with the gospel.

Today, alongside my family, I run a humble business in Green Lake, maintaining homes while faithfully worshiping, leading, and preaching. Our ministry, rooted in Psalm 42’s deep longing, offers pulpit supply, worship support, and retreats for pastors, lifting the weight of ministry so they can rest and recommit to a lifetime of serving Christ. We’ve seen churches retain their identity and purpose, strengthened by an outside voice of courage and partnership. My heart is to fan the flame of faith, helping small churches thrive as beacons of hope, just as God’s deep love continues to call to the depths of our souls.
